How to pick
Four questions settle it.
How many apps do you save from?
If it's one, that app's Saved tab is enough. If it's Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Reddit, you have four lists and need one place that holds them all.
Do you need to search by what you remember?
Raindrop Pro searches the full text of pages, PDFs and YouTube transcripts. mymind searches by color, keyword, brand or date. SavedIt searches by meaning, so "the pasta with the lemon" finds the right post.
Do you have a pile to move in?
Dewey pulls saves from several social platforms. SavedIt takes browser bookmark files and Raindrop and Readwise exports. Check the app imports from where your saves live before you commit.
Do you only save one kind of thing?
Only recipes? ReciMe is built for that. Only images and ideas to browse? Pinterest is built for that. A general saver earns its place when you save recipes, trips and articles together.

The apps, side by side
Swipe sideways to see every column.
| App | Best for | Where it shines | Where it falls short |
|---|---|---|---|
| Built-in Saved tabs | Keeping a post inside the app you found it in. | Free, one tap, nothing to install. Instagram and TikTok both have collections, and Facebook has a filter on desktop. | Every app keeps its own list. Instagram and TikTok have no search in Saved, X searches keywords only, and Reddit shows about 1,000 items. |
| Visual ideas you want to browse: rooms, outfits, recipes. | Boards, secret boards and collaborators on a shared board. | Made for Pins. It isn't where the Reels, TikToks and Reddit posts you saved in other apps end up. | |
| Raindrop.io | Web links, articles and PDFs you want to keep for years. | Apps on iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and Windows and extensions for four browsers. Shared collections and a free plan with no time limit. Pro adds full-text search, including YouTube transcripts, and permanent copies of pages. | Built around web pages and files. Search inside pages and permanent copies need Pro, and sorting is yours to do with collections and tags. |
| mymind | A private, visual library of notes, images and bookmarks you never want to file. | Smart Spaces sort what you save for you. Search by color, keyword, brand or date. | The free guest plan stops at 100 cards. Past that you need a paid plan: Student of Life or Mastermind. |
| Dewey | Pulling saves from several social platforms into one place. | Covers Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, X, Bluesky and more. Exports to CSV, searchable PDF or Google Sheet, images and videos included, and syncs to Notion. | Saves through browser extensions; there is no iPhone app. The free plan syncs by hand and has basic search. |
| ReciMe | Recipes only. | Saves recipes from Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube, plus screenshots, photos and handwritten recipes. Grocery lists ordered by aisle, a meal planner and cookbooks. iOS, Android, web and a Chrome extension. | Recipes and nothing else. The free version is limited to 5 recipe imports per week. |
| SavedIt | Everything you save across apps, found again by what you remember. | Share from any app on iPhone or Android without opening SavedIt. Search by meaning. Recipes get ingredients and steps. Collections you can share. Imports browser bookmark files and Raindrop and Readwise exports. | It keeps the link and what it read from the post, not the video file, so a deleted post leaves you the notes and not the video. It's a new app. Free covers saving, searching your own words and 20 searches by meaning a month. Plus is US$7.99 a month or US$39.99 a year, with 14 days free, and makes search by meaning unlimited. |
Where SavedIt fits
SavedIt is for people who save across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, X and the web, and want one library they can search.
Save from the share sheet
Tap Share, then SavedIt.
It saves without opening the app, so you don't leave the video you're watching.

Share to SavedIt from any app. Search by what you remember
Keyword matches come first. When exact words find nothing, search by meaning finds it from a description.

Here "orange gates" finds the Kyoto video by what's said in it. Plus searches by meaning without a monthly limit. Move in what you already have
Tap +, then Import saves.
Choose a bookmark file from Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge, or an export from Raindrop or Readwise. You can undo an import.
