How SavedIt handles sensitive topics
Where topics like health, money, or a new baby can appear, and where they never do.
Updated October 7, 2026
Three kinds of topics
Every topic Keeper gives a save is sorted into one of three groups. The group decides where that topic can appear.
- Everyday: most things, like recipes, travel, or products.
- Life events: parenting, weddings, moving, a job search, and similar moments.
- Sensitive: health, religion, politics, sexuality, ethnicity, immigration, money trouble, and legal trouble.
Where each kind can appear
- Search and a thread you open yourself: all topics.
- Threads on Home: everyday topics and life events.
- Notifications, your lock screen, and email: everyday topics. Life events only while you are actively saving to that thread (the last 14 days), and you can mute it with one tap. Sensitive topics never.
- Lock screen and email text stays generic.
What never happens
- Your topics are never shared with other people, including people you share a collection with.
- Your topics are never used for ads and never sold.
- Keeper labels the content you saved, not you.
If a topic shows up where you don't want it
Open Settings, then What Keeper knows. Hide or mute the thread, turn off the feature, or pause learning. Hiding a thread never moves or deletes your saves.
